La Rustica pizzeria in Richmond

In the hart of Richmond high street you can find La Rustica restaurant. They make pizza, pasta and more. The restaurant is quite nice with some soft music, wood tables and lovely environment. Food is ok, it was 4 of us and we had 4 different kind of pizza, all of them were ok, not bad at all but not that kind of place where you want absolutely to go again. The place is a bit expensive though, a pizza average price is 12£ and an espresso is 2.50£. The choice of pizza in the menu are for typical English taste. They have many ingredients all together, you can find pizza with chicken and with baby spinach, pizza with marinated tomatoes and seafood pizza with tuna. I had calzone which is a folded filled pizza, it was good. My friend had a pizza with ham but there was only little ham, a few slices.

The "lovely" Albion in Angel

A friend of mine told me about this place and I'm really glad he did. This gastronomic pub looks lovely from outside, there are tables and chairs to eat and drink alfresco and there a is a surprising big garden on the back. Inside the environment is warm and elegant as well. We had traditional English food. My dish was a fish cake with an egg on the top covered by a delicious cream. Everybody enjoyed their food, this is a very nice place for dinner or lunch too.
The price is not cheap but usually pubs aren't, so you wouldn't spend less than 30£.

A touch of Italy.. Piccolo Buco in Rome

I went to Rome on holiday last December and I tried a different restaurant every day.
There is one of them which is stuck in my mind. I asked the waiter what was his favourite dish and I had amazing bucatini all'amatriciana which is a traditional dish from Rome,  my mom had spaghetti alla carbonara, and both of them were amazing. This place is called Piccolo Buco which mean small whole in English probably because the restaurant is tiny and family ran.
It's close to Fontana di Trevi and even if it is in the middle of a turistic area the food is so great that you can't forget it.
I couldn't eat anything cooked better, bucatini were delicious and I would love to go back to Rome only to try it again! It was very cheap as well!

Sapori Sardi: one of my favourite

Sapori Sardi is one of my favourite Italian restaurant in London. It's a simple and friendly environment, great qyality food and good price. What a combination! The dish I like the most is home made sea food ravioli, it's the only place in London where I could eat a such good home made filled pasta. You should definitely try it! They have good wine too.

Annie in Barnes nothing special

Nice and quiet environment, good if u want a bit of relax. There is a lovely garden on the back and a lot of indoor space as well. I had risotto and others had hamburger. Risotto was not very good, it was overcooked and far away from real Italian risotto. Hamburger was good.

Canta Napoli chiswick... great seafood pasta in London

Tonight we ended up in Chiswick and we decided to go back to Canta Napoli restaurant.
We have already been there a few months ago at that time we had pizza and lasagna, they were good so let's try it again.
I had seafood paccheri, a typical kind of pasta from Naples, pasta was really good and seafood incredibly fresh!
The sauce was great, the right mix of seafood, cherry tomatoes, and even parsley was cut properly.
I think it was the best seafood pasta I have ever had in London, simple and good as my mum would cook it.
The price was cheap as well... and it's not a surprise that the restaurant was crowded... very good value for money
Canta Napoli ... well done!
